Oh Dave - apart from Depeche Mode, couldn't you get the gig for anyone's online store who isn't utterly shit? It must drive you mad playing with jpegs of Jamie Oliver's face all day!
(joke!)
By the way, when did Nude cease to exist? Who are Suede signed to now? Questions questions!
I've already 'sold out' in the first place by agreeing to help make these bands money by selling their merchandise. I'm not doing it because I do or don't dig their music. So I don't care who's store I do so long as the money is good. Sad but true.
But as it happens, I don't have any personal dislike of any of the artists I'm involved with. Um, should I apologise for having too much musical tolerance? I hope not.
As for playing with JPEGs of Jamie Oliver's face, I've not had to do so as yet - just images of his merchandise, which includes T-shirts, hooded sweatshirts, aprons, double oven gloves and pot grabs. The guy has e-mailed me once or twice but most of the time I have to communicate through his 'Brand Manager'. Fun.
Yeah, Suede have just reverted to Sony who Nude were being sponsored by, as it were, anyway. Nude ceased to exist early November time, if I remember rightly, although they stopped paying me for my work on Gloss' site back in May or June, so they owed me about £800 before they went under, which I'll never get because they also owed a helluva lot more cash to the Inland Revenue, Sony and others (talking 7 digits here). So I knew it was coming, even though they assured me they'd be OK 'cos they were going to find new funding. Bullshitters.
Nah, don't apologise for having too much musical tolerance - I wish I did. I'm such a music snob, it creates barriers sometimes which I don't like doing. But hey.
Good on yer though - I've never objected to people selling out - I'd probably wash Toploader's pants if they paid me enough money!
You have to ask yourself though - who in their right mind would wear a Jamie Oliver hooded sweatshirt?

That, my occasional friend, is a very good question...(taken from this - the store won't end up looking like this)
J and O are his initials. I still don't understand the relevance of 2 and 3.

23 - that's how wide his tongue is, in inches. Or how many recipes he actually knows. Or the amount of millions his Sainsbury's contract is worth.Or his IQ.
Or how many brain cells he has.
Etc etc etc.
